Job Position: Human Resources Officer

Required Candidates: Bachelors of business Administration in Human Resources management 

Job Purpurse:

HR Officer to oversee and manage human resources function across Rugabano Tea Company Pvt Limited operations located in Karongi District, Rugabano Sector. The HR will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, managing recruitment, Designing and implement trainings required by different certification agencies and ensuring compliance with Rwandan labor lows.

The functions of the job holder will include:

  • Deal with all personnel matters,
  • Update and keep employees’ salaries and advances to date(staff and casual employees),
  • Prepare statutory deduction and other deductions (e.g.: Pension and Paye declarations etc…),
  • Assess and execute necessary training,
  • Responsible of workers medical insurance,
  • Responsible for the safety of the employees files and data base,
  • Keep records of employees and other concomitant data,
  • Responsible for the correspondence concerning the employees,
  • Coordinate and monitor performance of Human resource and their appraisal thereof,
  • Ensure professional recruitment and retention of quality staff, 
  • Prepare employment Contracts and with related parties
  • Ensure compliance with the labour laws, employment regulations and company policies, any changes or information to be informed to the management.
  • Monitor changes in labour registration and update HR Practice accordingly with clear information to the management.
  • Promote and embed the company’s values and desired culture within the Rwanda operations
  • Support internal audits and ensure accurate recordkeeping of HR data and documentations
  • Any other duty assigned from time to time.
